When is your next audition?

Do you pay? 

Yes. Since 2018 we've started paying most of our roles and crew positions. However, we need to be clear about the size of our operations. These films are weekend-fun side projects. Many of the producers involved have day jobs trying to make ends meet, but we do this because we're artists. We simply don't have the budget or resources to pay the rates major studios and union productions can pay. For reference, "The Curse and the Covenant," an hour long feature, was made for $6k! Depending on the size of your role, we will negotiate a contract with a one time payment. 

I live in LA, NYC, or some other far away place. Can I audition?

We are based in Albuquerque NM, and El Paso TX. Unless you live in this region, we strongly discourage distant auditions. If you insist on auditioning while you live far away, you must prove you have a place to stay and be willing to travel to our area at your own expense!

Do you work with SAG, union productions?

As noted above, we simply don't have the budget or resources to put on a union level production for our own scripts. That said, we sometimes collaborate with other projects that are union productions. If an external producer wishes to give proper funding for a SAG or union project, then we would be happy to talk and re-evaluate our options.

Can I get a copy of the scenes I was in for my demo reel?

Yes, with conditions. We will absolutely help any of our past talent get a copy of the scenes they were in! Just let us know and we will export a file for you as soon as we can. If you are working in an unreleased production, we will try to get you the footage you need shortly after the film is complete. If you need something earlier, please let us know. For unreleased films, there may be some scenes that are embargoed due to spoilers. 

If this is just a small indie operation, what's in it for me as an aspiring professional actor?

Besides fun, friends, and a modest financial offering, we also aim to cultivate and work with up-and-coming talent in the New Mexico and El Paso areas. Even if our films are just a hobby project, we still aim to make works of art that can win some awards - including for our talent! We also aim to give talent overlooked by the studios a chance to show off what they can do in bigger roles, and use our material to help them secure auditions and roles in bigger, more professional productions (like those at Netflix).
